A Linux distribution for convertible laptops

Hi, my name is Mello! Glad you discovered Kader⁴². I’m—well—the mascot, so basically a colleague of Tux’s. I hope you have at least as much fun and enjoyment with Kader⁴² as we do. 🙂 My creator simply felt there was a need for a Linux distribution for convertible laptops like the Framework 12. He deliberately chose not to use Windows because he simply feels more at ease with Linux. The Framework 12 (and other Framework devices) is also known for its Linux compatibility. So my creator was very surprised to find that convertibles are still treated like the poor relation under Linux. Sometimes the display rotation doesn’t work, and there isn’t a truly hybrid system. That means the launcher doesn’t adapt to the mode being used (laptop or tablet mode). That’s why we’re here now. So Kader⁴² isn’t just the next Linux distribution. No, it’s a Linux distribution specifically for convertible laptops. We hope you enjoy Kader⁴² and that we’ve been able to fill a gap in the Linux ecosystem. Have fun with Kader⁴²!
