The Software Center, version 2.0, now provides a job overview (task overview) of package installations. It is now also possible to view the console output directly in this view in the form of a log, which can be very helpful when errors occur.

The Software Center may not be updated automatically via a system update. Therefore, enter the following in the terminal once (as an exception):
sudo pacman -Syy # updates the repository database
sudo pacman -S kader42-software-center
In newer versions of Kader⁴², the Software Center will, of course, include version 2.0 right away.
